General Campground Conditions

Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping is situated in a natural bush setting at 1484 Noosa Road, Tandur. Guests acknowledge that the property contains natural hazards including:

  • Uneven ground
  • Tree roots
  • Falling branches
  • Unsecured natural waterways
  • Submerged logs

Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of those in their care.

 Water Safety

  • Jumping or diving into waterways is prohibited.
  • Children must be supervised at all times, particularly around water.

Campfires

  • Campfires are your responsibility.
  • Fires must never be left unattended.
  • Fires must be fully extinguished before going to bed or leaving your campsite.
  • We recommend campers do not camp directly beneath gum trees due to the possibility of falling branches.

Noise & Behaviour

We are a family-friendly campground. To ensure everyone enjoys their stay:

  • Please respect neighbouring campers.
  • Loud music, excessive noise and parties are not permitted.
  • No noise from 9:00 pm.
  • Guests who fail to respect other campers or campground rules may be asked to leave immediately without refund.

Dogs

  • Dogs are permitted onsite by prior approval only.
  • Guests must accept full responsibility and legal liability for the behaviour and control of their dog at all times.
  • Dogs must always remain on a lead.
  • Dogs must not enter shared amenities, food preparation areas, playgrounds, mini golf or luxury tent bedrooms.
  • Excessive barking, aggression or disruptive behaviour is not permitted.
  • Cobb & Co / QCCC reserves the right to require immediate removal of any dog that breaches these conditions or presents a safety risk.

Respect for Staff

Our staff deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. Aggressive, abusive, threatening or offensive behavior towards staff or other guests will not be tolerated and may result in immediate eviction from the property without refund.

Liability & Damage

Guests are responsible for any loss of or damage to Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping property, accommodation, facilities or equipment caused by themselves, members of their group or their visitors. The cost of repairing or replacing damaged property may be charged to the guest responsible.

Guests are responsible for the security of their own personal belongings, vehicles and camping equipment. Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal property during your stay.

Guests use all campground facilities, amenities and natural areas at their own risk. While every effort is made to provide a safe environment, Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage arising from the use of the property, except where required by law.

Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking with Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

Wheeled Devices Policy

 Bicycles, e-bikes and other electric powered wheeled devices, and helmets

This policy applies to everyone on the grounds – guests, day visitors and staff. It covers helmets, and how we manage e-bikes and other electric powered wheeled devices – this means anything with wheels and a motor, including e-scooters, hoverboards, segways, e-skateboards and similar devices.

Helmets

A helmet must be worn by anyone riding a bicycle, e-bike, e-scooter or similar device, anywhere on the property. This includes children and adults.

  • The helmet must be an approved bicycle helmet complying with Australian safety standards , fitted properly and fastened;
  • we have helmets available for purchase (at cost) at reception, if you have forgotten your own; and
  • if a helmet can’t be worn for a medical reason (with a current doctor’s certificate) or for religious headwear reasons, please let reception know.

The Bike Track Area

The Bike Track area is set aside for pedal bikes only. E-bikes and other electric powered wheeled devices are not permitted in this area, at any time, for any rider, so that it stays consistent and suitable for pedal-bike riders of all ages.

E-bikes and powered wheeled devices — rest of the property

Away from the Bike Track area, e-bikes and other electric powered wheeled devices are welcome on the grounds, but must comply with Queensland law, and our conditions below informed by Queensland’s road laws for these devices:

  • riders must be 16 or older and hold at least a learner licence, or aged 12 to 17 and riding under direct adult supervision;
  • speed must not exceed 10km/h, the same limit that applies to all powered vehicles and devices on site; and
  • a helmet must always be worn, as set out above.

Mobility scooters and similar devices used for accessibility are welcome across the grounds and are not subject to these conditions.

Battery Safety

  • Charging of electric powered wheeled devices should only occur in approved areas.
  • Damaged batteries or charging accessories must not be used.

Behaviour and Enforcement

  • We may direct any rider to stop using a device or leave a riding area if this policy is not followed or if their behaviour is unsafe or discourteous to others.
  • If use of the electric powered wheeled device is unlawful, we reserve the right to contact local Police.
