Cobb and Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds provides the ideal natural setting for QCCC’s Survival Camp programs for schools. Surrounded by bushland, creeks and wide-open spaces, the property becomes a living classroom where students step outside their comfort zones and learn practical outdoor skills while working together as a team.

Multiple private camping zones allow each group to operate within its own immersive bush environment, while basic infrastructure provides a safety net if weather conditions change. Comfortable glamping tents are also available for teachers and accompanying adults.

Survival Camp activities can include navigation, campcraft and fire-cooking, search and rescue scenarios, raft-building, bush food discovery, shelter construction, and team challenges. The scale of the property also allows for carefully supervised solo experiences where students spend reflective time in nature – often one of the most memorable elements of the camp.
